Imam Reza Hospital

Imam Reza Hospital, one of the largest public hospitals in Mashhad, is located in Taghi Abad Square. It was established in 1934 under the name "Shah Reza Hospital" on 28.5 hectares. Later in 1975, the building was handed over to Ferdowsi University and turned into a medical training center.

After the Islamic revolution in 1979, the hospital was renamed Imam Reza Hospital in honor of the eight Shia Imam. This center serves Iranian and foreign patients with more than 1000 beds and provides them with the best medical services.
